Content ID is a YouTube and Meta (Instagram/Facebook) system for copyright-owning content creators to easily identify and manage their content on the platform.
Videos uploaded to YouTube and Meta are scanned against a database of files that have been submitted by copyright-owning content owners, who can decide what happens when content in a video on YouTube and Meta matches a work that they own. When a match is found, the video gets a Content ID claim.
When using Content ID at Exclusive Digital Music, you must comply with the policies of Meta and YouTube. This system may lead to copyright claims on content uploaded to YouTube and Meta.
